Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I honestly don’t get the big deal about Photoshop/airbrushing.
People are always going on about how these fake images are damaging our self esteem. I’m sorry, but everybody knows that models are airbrushed. You KNOW these images are fake. If one of these images lowers your self esteem, you probably had an issue in the first place.
All the magazines are doing is making their products look their best (make up, hair products, clothes) Just like they are entitled to do. It’s called advertising.
As for “oh, they shouldn’t be advertising that foundation to give you perfect skin when it doesn’t.” Come on people, most products (ANY type of product) don’t do what their advertised to do. It’s not exclusive to the beauty industry!
